I am doing a science paper and one of the resources is about bendy lampposts. I understand the benefits if they bend but how does it help if the buckle? Surely that just means that the car can keep going and drive into what ever is behind it, possible with the speed being reduced slightly. Also part of the idea is that the car rides up along the lamppost however, how would this work? I was recorded going 66 in a 55 while entering a construction zone, so this doubled it. In my car the top part of the seatbelt is automatic, but not the bottom and I forgot to buckle it. This added $100 or more. The total came to $355. This is my first traffic infraction and I was wondering what I could do to lower it or Defer it, and how a deferment works.
