Family : What To Do About Changing My Phone Number
Up until last week hardly no-one ever called our house phone . Now all of a sudden someone( unknown) rings the house phone at least every 3 hours , they start at around 9am and they stop at about 8 pm ... Sometimes i miss the call and a few times i have answered it, and they hang up, when i say hello and it's starting to test my patience... i dialed *10# to call back the number but it was a private number ... and no-one has given our number out, i have 3 young kids under 6 so its not them. Its not my fiance either, because the ( unknown ) person would know that he works nights and sleeps during the day . and he has a mobile , so im sure they would just call that . In the last month or so, we have had telemarketing places call us, but they don't hang up when i say hello If i want to change my house phone number, how do i go about doing that ? does it cost anything to do so ? does it cost extra to have a private phone number ? Thanks for your help :) my fiance isn't stupid enough to give a woman the house number, knowing that i'm at home all day and night to answer the phone. And even so, the girl would know that he sleeps all day and works from 3pm to 12 am. He would give her his mobile number if ever he was too cheat . ~~~ Harmonie ~~~

Family : What Do Parents Feel When They Punish A Kid For Disrepecting Or Disobeying Them
People usually say parents always punish kids out of love, for their best. I'm 13 and in certain cases I'm not sure. I guess many times parents punish just because they want to keep their authority, which is something more related to pride than with their kid's best. When kids disobey or disrespect, parents usually get angry. Then, they, at least apparently, just want to preserve their authority, there's no love involved. Something like a boss or a dictator that wants to preserve his power. If I'm right, and hope I'm not, in such cases the punishment is just a retaliation, not something coming out of love. I don't know if I was clear, but I'd like to know how parents feel in such cases. I myself have no experience with this, my dad passed away when I was 10 and was a great dad, my mom treats me with love and I don't get in trouble. But this has happened to some of my friends and I got shocked. ~~~ Amanda ~~~
