When should I start my 4 1/2 month old on baby cereal? He's now half breastmilk (I pump) fed and half formula fed. What age did you start your baby on cereal? And how do I go about starting him on it. What type or brand should I use? He now has 4 oz of breastmilk (or formula) about every 3 hours during the day, 4 hours at night. He's gaining weight just fine on what he's eating now, he's more than 15 pounds. Do I start with only the cereal, when do I start giving him the jar baby food? Ok, it's a long messed story, but anyway we don't have insurance right now. They are still trying to process our paper work. We don't live on a military base or near one. My 10 month old baby's ear infection is coming back and she needs some medicine. But the doctor's expect you to pay them today if you don't have ins. I just don't have that much money today. What should I do? We have a medquick center that is open 7 days a week and it's walk in no app. I will call them when they open this morning and see if I could just pay them a little money today and the rest next week. Once again we DO NOT live on a military base. I know health care is free there but we are 3 hours away from the nearest one. I took her to the emergency room this morning.
