I notice this problem quite frequently on my cellphone. I get multiple copies or repeat delivery of the same message for several days. I notice this problem is not confined only to yahoo messenger users, in my case it is from cellphone-cellphone. On the net there are discussion about this here on cingular's site: I have seen this problem occur from cellular providers in western, eastern europe and USA. I have received the message on an asian service provider. Not only is it irritating to be charged, it is annoying since even at night you keep being woken up by an SMS you are already aware off. A discussion and solution for this would be great. Answers allude to lack of server confirmation of message receipt by the receiving server. More importantly are there any clear solutions to terminate this annoying and abnormal message delivery at a given instance ? ~~~ phantom m ~~~
