I have picked out for a girl: Alanna Michelle and a Boy: Jarren Lain. What do you think of these names? The tradition in my family is that the first born daughter has the middle name Michelle and I want to use my dad's middle name Lain for a boy. Any suggestions? Thank you! ~~~ Heather ~~~

Alanna is a form of Alan and is Irish. Michelle is a French form of Michael. I say with the meaning of both names this is LOVELY. Jarren to me seems misspelled. The original spelling for this name is Jaron and it is Hebrew for he will sing. I like the name Lain since it is a family name. Good luck!

Answer 4You have to admit that naming you baby is one of the hardest tasks to do while preparing for the baby. A persons name is who they are and in some cases can define them. I like the names you have choosen and having sentimental value just adds that much more to it. I especially like the girls middle name because, well that is my name and you can't go wrong with that!!! LOL
