I want to donate money to a charity that helps protect the other great apes. I think allowing them to go extinct, given that they share many human social and emotional characteristics, would be the most damning indictment of our society and I think future peoples would rightly view us with contempt. I'm interested in any suggestions...
But perhaps more so charities that empower local people through education and jobs in tourism and conservation etc.
