Dancing : What Is The Thing You Look At First When Picking Out Your Pointe Shoe
cool answers guys, are you planning on dancing professionally? I am a professional, and personally I look for first the maker's seal in my Griskhos, seeing as that's the shoe I always get. =] I like my Anatoli Rebusky's. How about you guys? ~~~ Pointee (the aptly named dancer) ~~~
Best Answer To Dancing Question
I have been doing pointe for maybe 6 years now, and i always used to research the different types of brands to see what would work best for me. However, it is usually not up to you to decide what shoes to get..the person that is fitting you for your shoe should know exactly what type size brand etc. to give you. If they don't then they aren't doing their job!

Answer 3i see my size first, always. it took me over 6 hours to find my perfect fit for my 1st pair of pointe shoes when i started pointe when i was 7. fit is a big key, you never want to have a shoe that is too tight on your toes, remember they could break. never pull the strings inside once you first get them, that ruins the sizing.
Answer 4The fit. If they are too tight or lose, forget about 'em! I also look to see if it looks good on the foot... I hate when shoes make my feet look worse than they really are( like capezios)
