Answer 2My mom has a lot of girl chihuahua's They are good dogs, but generally more dominant over males. They are so teeny though, I dont think they would make good watch dogs.
Answer 3i have both. males get down right nasty! out guy is so mean for some reason. our girl can get an attitude but shes sweet. i think in most animals a female has a better temperment.
Answer 4chihuahuas arent going to be a good watch dog.. they are like 4 lbs..wow. i hate those dogs sooo ugly
Answer 5Like in most breeds, the Female will be relatively smaller, and probably easier to train. You also might find that the Males could be more aggressive, while the females tend to be docile. Besides that, not much.... (except for the whole different sex parts, but I think that one is obvious)

Answer 7Chihuahuas are lap dogs not watch dogs and a lot of people don't train them they baby them and then you get a screwed up and very aggressive or fearful chihuahua, mine is super and loves people (working on kids though) but we never babied her at all, sleeps in a crate, and walks on a leash, she hates the snow but if she wants to walk then she'll walk in it. besides they take almost 6 months to potty train!-mine did
Answer 8Chihuahua's are great watch dogs. They bark at everything. They are a good alarm system, but they need something else to back them up. They are not guard dogs. According to the AKC they are alert, with terrier-like 's have different temperaments. I have 3 males. One likes everyone, and he is very friendly. One is very skittish, and he will run away from people. He will bark under the table or chairs though. The other one is cautious, but friendly. If he knows the person He will bark until he can smell them. These tiny dogs are certainly unaware of their diminutive stature: they can be bold with other dogs much larger than themselves, and protective of their masters. They are fiercely loyal to their masters and wary of any strangers or new guests introduced into the household, which the Chihuahua considers to be its personal domain. For these reasons, Chihuahuas make good watch dogs (not guard dogs, though!). from #temp Hope this helps.
Answer 9One has a innie.. one has a outie :oP Okay well LOL besides the obvious... It depends on the dog to be honest and its training.. I have had both dominate female and male dogs. Currently I have a male and female toy poodles, my male is a huge suck most of the time and loves everyone, my female is cautious of people and my shadow. Both are very sweet, but their temperaments are very different, HOWEVER I believe this is more to do with their early life and the training they received. Our Male is older and when we got him I was home all day and was able to spend ALOT of time training him. Our Female is the younger of the two and I was working full-time when we got her, and she never received as much training as our male nor did she receive as much coddling as our male did when they were puppies. Its all in the upbringing and the early months of their lives that I think plays a bigger part in their temperament then their sexes.
Answer 10One needs to be spayed and the other needs to be neutered :) Typically there isn't any way for anyone to tell you the differences as all dogs can be different regardless of sex. People can go on about their preferences but that isn't relevent at all. Find a good, knowledgeable, responsible breeder who can help you to select the right dog for you who has parents that have been properly evaluated for health concerns, temperament and structural issues so that you have the best chance at getting a loving companion for the next 15 or so years... I prefer b*tches but that is just me... and a dog can be just as loving and protecting and loyal...
