Best Answer To Elections Question
Well, because I AM a democrat, and because I want the next president to BE a democrat... the only candidate I would want to see nominated is Hillary Clinton. Hillary can hold on to her votes that were cast for her during these primaries, and she can build off that base. (Obama can't because he's had too much 'foot in mouth' syndrome along the campaign trail) A percentage of people who voted FOR him in the primaries, would NOT vote for him again in the upcoming general election. (sorry, but that's a fact...) Hillary has the democratic base backing her in huge numbers, that hasn't been done since Bill Clinton was elected. (that's why we have had a republican president for the last, almost eight years) A democrat can not win a presidential election without the base of their party on board... there are reasons to believe Obama can't win the support from a huge chunk of this base. But, Hillary has already done it, so it's a 'no brainer' now... we already know that she can, because we just saw her do it. (again) There is also the matter of possible 'Clinton Republicans' who would come out for Hillary instead of McCain... they don't all like MccCain. These same republicans will not consider voting for Obama, they would never help get "the most liberal US Senator" elected... not even if he was running for the 'office of janitor' in the white house. It won't ever happen. That's about as logical as it gets in my opinion. We know Hillary can win the general election now. We don't know if Obama can, but most democrats have doubts about that, and these doubts are growing even more now, because of what just happened in PA. (Yes, especially after the way Obama out spent her in PA... and still lost.) Obama needed to prove he can win those working white class votes, that's the biggest chunk of our 'base'... Obama still hasn't done that, so he failed to prove anything. (again) Democrats need to *win* the general election before we can put democrat in the white house by January. Why not pick the person we know can win? Would it make any sense at to nominate someone who probably can't win?
All Answers To Elections Questions
Answer 1Obama He has the popular vote counting all states that the DNC would allow him to run in. That simple fact will cause a majority of super delegates to side with him.
Answer 2Hillary has to get 69% of the remaining states delegates to catch up to obama in pledged delegates. OR she has to get 2/3 of all remaining superdelegates to overturn the people's choice. I can't imagine that happening. I believe Obama will win.
Answer 3Hillary, If she doesn`t I will never understand the US.
Answer 4Hillary will pull it off...People will wake up see the Clinton power of leading our country in the right direction...........look back at the Clinton years.
Answer 5Clinton She has been a fighter all her will fight for America, get the economy back on its feet. She's had 35 years of politics under her belt, and can beat McCain in November, and any debate you want to put in front of her. If the elections had been run properly, and Florida and Michigan would have been conducted properly it was her election a long time ago.
Answer 6Hillary and if she doesn't get it, it just means the GOP plan worked so they could get McCain elected.
Answer 7Obama. It's already his. He's losing by 10,000 popular votes: and that's by Hillary's carefully cherry-picked metric. In reality, she's down by many times that and the delegates are what matters anyways. This race will end when he wins NC by 15%+...
Answer 8Obama - to be honest, it's the time out generation, because maybe the thought of hope , making the world better rather then making more wars. And before anyone says he's bullshit just remember HE DID A LOT before and during his time in Washington.
Answer 9obama, but hillary and her husband will try to get the super delegates to vote for her.
Answer 10obama, he is losing his grip on the election, but is more likable and has too big of a lead to be made up. however, i (quite depressingly) don't think this will matter as the majority of america (in polls at least...but we've seen how those can turn out) is wanted as president by more people. i actually think despite how much people hate bush, they will still refuse to cross over and vote for a "tree-huggin' communist ; and there is also the unfortanate clincher: nader will make sure we lose even if we have a chance. as sad as it is, people are simply to ignorant to understand (even after bush proved it wrong) that democrats are not the stem of all their economic problems. they mainly don't realize that taxes and other government run programs can in fact help them.
Answer 11Obama

Answer 13could be Obama because black people are so exited to have a black president regardless if he has skills or not , he is voted overwhelmingly always in the range of 90 % by blacks(vs 8 % blacks that voted Hillary in Pennsylvania). Plus Obama is heavily financed , not by average people like in Hillary's case.
