Answer 1Just say you dont want to travel with a new baby. Invite her to your house. Let her do the traveling.
Answer 2Call her now before she can make plans. Why not invite her to your home? Ask her if she can come and make the Christmas Season bright for your family. Maybe she can help out with the baby, make some cookies, and just generally enjoy the holiday with your wife, you and the new baby.

Answer 7Tell her just what you told us, she may be a bit disappointed but it cant be helped. perhaps you can schedule a day in february or something that you will go and see her instead. or she can come visit when you, your wife and the baby are ready to have guests.
