Best Answer To Gender Womens Studies Question
Absolutely. As feminism has moved into joining forces with PCism, it has become more about spouting groupthink than about granting women equal rights. The basis of the ideology is nothing more than feel-good nonsense, and as such, will be quickly rejected once logic is allowed to enter into the discussion. The only way to keep feminism afloat is to censor diverging viewpoints and to keep criticism of its leaders hushed up. So far, so good. Anyone who is appalled by the intellectual dishonesty that is part of current feminism needs to speak up, even if it means being blacklisted. Witness: Christina Hoff-Sommers, who is an equity feminist and fights against lies and misleading statistics in feminism today. She is branded an "anti-feminist" for her efforts to put respectability back into the movement. Anyone who would take sides WITH the person who fudges her stats is not someone I want to be identified with. But feminists have done their duty by criticizing Sommers at every opportunity. I guess she makes the lying feminists (like the Super Bowl = wife-beating liar) feel bad about themselves. Shame on her.

Answer 6I hope when young women out there complain about "feminists", they ask themselves if they would like to go back and have no vote, to be not considered as "persons" under the law. If you wonder if it can be sustained, it is being sustained unless we go back to a previous century. Labelling men and women as "feminists' as tho it were something derogatory, is the same as considering civil rights, and anyone standing up for the common good a bad thing. It has been more politically correct today to bash "feminists" especially by young women. That brings up a question I thot of. I will put in Q's later.
Answer 7Feminism cannot exist in two conditions: 1) void of political enforcement through any means (physical, mental, etc.) 2) in an open debate
Answer 8No more than naziism could have been sustained without the environment created by the nazi laws. They were their political correctness.
