Government : How Are We Going To Stop The Greenies From Destroying Our Land
Where are all the greenies, now that our state is on fire? I hope they are helping out at the wild animal rescue centres caring for the wounded and orphaned wildlife. Perhaps they could help the people who are trying to protect their houses and livestock from the fires. They have been haseling the gov't for years to get horses, cattle and people out of our state forrests. The result is record amounts of scrub and brush undergrowth to feed a fire. So, now after neglecting access tracks and signage for years, and record breaking drought, the forrest is ablaze and no one can get in there to put it out. How can common sense be put back into our leadership. Mr Bracks is the one responsable for care of the state forrest. He allows clear felling and poisoning of wildlife, but doesn't allow cattle to graze on the high plains. ~~~ Ripplediane ~~~
Best Answer To Government Question
The only thing is to try not give them a preferential vote (hope that's the right term) Before they had their say in this and that we did not have these problems on this scale. I bet their not out there, most of them are in the city with their wooden framed houses and their wooden furniture. Howard only realises his own self importance.

Answer 1I feel for you Aussies. Sounds like your taking a right step. I'm all for conserving the environment but it can get out of hand by mindless environmentalistic thinking. Good luck...
Answer 2they have all gone into hiding hopefully feeling bad for having the government pass that law. i wonder if now Mr Howard realises the importance of letting the cattle graze in our high country. if this was never stopped we wouldn't be burning as we speak. i wonder if the gov read these

Answer 4Common sense? Horses and cattle to do not graze in forests......
Answer 5It's people who don't give a shit about the environment (lib-nationals) that will destroy our land. Horses and cattle do not belong in state forrests and do more damage than they prevent. The best way to prevent fires is to do preventative burns (near houses, farms, etc...) before the fire season.
Answer 6cattle horses are not native to Australia they should not be in forrests but that is not the only place that has been burning every year, the fires are all over Australia now more than ever i think for some reason but i think fire breaks should be used to help control them
