yes you need work comp and what is called garage liability and garage keepers legal liability. Work comp covers bodily injury or sickness to your employees. Garage Liability covers your faulty work (you do not properly fix someones car . the brakes and they cause a crash as a result of it) and premises liability (trip and fall on your property) Garage Keepers Legal Liability covers your customers vehicles while it is in your care custody and/or control . you keep the vehicle over night and someone breaks in and steals or vandalizes the vehicle. research on the internet any independant brokers in your area that offer commercial insurance and go from there or go to a captive agent such as farmers or statefarm
