I'm moving home and the seller can't tell me who supplies gas and electricity. It's getting cold and I don't know who to call to get the gas turned on. Can you help? ~~~ slinkyfran2000 ~~~

Answer 5Call National Grid. I had the same problem. Their number for gas is 0845 605 6677 and for electricity 01926 65 3000. if thats not any use try Transco on 0800 111 999 for your gas

Answer 7Look in the phone book under Utilities, Natural Gas, Electricity, etc. for a list of companies that handle that in your area. Call them to determine if your address is in their area of service. If that's too much work, then you can ask one of the neighbors who they use. In the end, you'll get your utilities turned on and meet the neighbors!

Answer 9The seller of your new home should let the supplier know when he dose not want to be supplied thus getting a final bill and it`s seems quite odd that he docent know them as he would have paid the usage bill before hand. The only other way to do it is go or a new supplier and if they say they cant they will tell you why and who is the supplier to your new property.
