Answer 4Orwell Would Roll In His Grave.
Answer 5I agree with "Lizzie T" about her choices. Here are some more. "Killing Fields". The story is based on the book about Sydney Schanberg (NYT) and his driver in Cambodia. The film is excellent although the events are not as accurate as to the events. Schanberg did not break the story on the accidental B-52 bombing of the river port of Neak Leung. The film also glosses over the whoring and drug taking by Schanberg and his colleagues, Dieter Ludwick (German) and Al Rockoff (American). "Shooters" This is a film set in South Vietnam and depicts Sean Flynn (son of Errol Flynn the movie star) as a photographer with his colleagues. "Damien ; This film is about an Australian film cameraman during WW-2 and his coverage of the war in the Middle East and in Papua New Guinea for an Australian government agency. Parer changed employers and started working for the American "Movietone News" and was killed on an island during a battle. There is a documentary film about an Australian TV news cameraman, Neil Davis. The film is called, "Frontline". Neil Davis worked for the British based TV newsfilm syndication service, VISNEWS, then in 1973 changed to the American TV network, NBC and was the only 'non-American' to hold the position of 'International cameraman-correspondent' for NBC. Neil was killed in Thailand covering a coup. Neil was my immediate senior in Cambodia and Vietnam when I worked for Visnews. "Comeback". This film is about an Australian freelance journalist/photographer, John Everinghan, working in Laos during and immediately after the "Vietnam War". He was married to three Laotian girls of which number one was in Australia with his parents. He was expelled from Laos in 1977 with his other wives remaining in Vientiane, the capital. Later that year he swam across the river to bring number two wife into Thailand while number three made it over to Thailand by herself about two months after that. The film does not say that the girl he swam the river for was his second wife, only inferring that it was "his wife". I often visited his home in Vientiane when I was stationed there.
Answer 6Two to consider: "Absence of Malice" and "Shattered ;
