I enlisted for 5 years, 4 years + 1 year with a 2500 bonus. My question is, can i pay back the 2500 and have them change the 5th year back into reserve time? I'm about half a year to my 4 year mark and I'd really like to get out. Any info appreciated. ~~~ doublehelix125 ~~~

Answer 6ABSOLUTELY YES..I DID...I SIGNED UP FOR SIX YEARS WITH A BONUS..MY RATE BEGAN TO GET OVERMANNED AND AFTER FOUR YEARS, I WAS APPROVED TO "TRANSFER" TO INACTIVE RESERVES..THEY TOOK BACK A SMALL PART OF MY BONUS, AND THINGS ARE GREAT...I WILL ADD THAT THIS WAS IN THE NAVY...IT WAS POSSIBLE, AND IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME...JUST GOOGLE IT...
