Non Alcoholic Drinks : Is There Any Difference Between The Dairy Farmers Milk And Coles Or Savings Brand

Best Answer To Non Alcoholic Drinks Question
They all contain the same milk, but the packaging seems to be different. 3 out of 4 times I buy home brand, the bottle springs a leak in the car (never in the store...funny that). There is definitely a point to avoiding the supermarkets brands though, eventually, there will be a duopoly, and everyone will lose. It is already starting to happen with fruit and vege, and look at the groceries now. There is less brand choice with the introduction of mid level "Home Brands". What does that mean anyway..."You'll love Coles"??? Are they trying to convince us or what!? What is important? your back pocket, or principles of market freedom and competition? Why is Dairy Farmers so much more anyway?

Answer 1One is just as good as the other, I think they taste a little different to each other but they're both as good.
Answer 2We should support the Dairy Farmers brand as it directly helps the farmers even though they only get about 30 cents a litre from the sale. The greedy supermarket giants like Coles and Woolies are the ones who make the money out of the milk by their high mark ups. Milk is milk but if you buy the cheaper brands eventually the dairy farmers will be unable to survive and the supermarkets will up the price even further and then we definitely won't have a choice. Support your local farmers and keep them going!
