Answer 2You height if you are tall tell them you need to sit by the window where the isle separates for the escape window as you get leg cramps otherwise as you do not have room to stretch your legs in normal seats. If you are only short well tough you'll have to think of something else.

Answer 5I know someone who always gets upgraded when seats are available,they dress very smart,carry a laptop style briefcase and don't have any always make a point of chatting to the steward/stewardess and ask if there are any available seats to consider her. It worked for her on trains and planes ,I have kids so i have no chance. Good Luck
