You always see drs wearing coats in tv shows but when you go to a hospital, barely anyone wears the coat unless they are working in a lab. What do you guys think?

The white coat is not a uniform that doctors have to wear like bus conductors. They wear it like an apron when there is a chance of their suits getting spoilt.

What Im really curious is where are all those real life hot doctors like on television shows and what supply closet should I meet up with them for a much more "invasive checkup"?
Because if anything that part should be real.

In the hospitals here, the doctors are still wearing their white coats. Only in clinics do the doctors not wear them.

Doctors almost always have the coat either on, or close by, but nurses do not.. An average hospital boasts 10-15 nurses per doctor.. I would guess that you have a 50-50 chance of catching a doctor in the white coat.. Which is about the same odds you would have at taking home the pretty nurse if you played your cards right.
