Other Home Garden : How Can I Remove Glue Residue From A Label On A Water Bottle
I reuse my water bottles frequent, which leads to the labels coming off. This if fine except that it leaves me with a sticky gluey mess! I've tried scraping and scrubbing to no avail. Any tips? ~~~ the_green_water12801 ~~~

get a bottle of Goo-Gone and use that, I use it all the time for stuff like that.

Answer 2Use WD40 on the area, rubbing in a small circular motion. Finally, wipe thoroughly with a paper towel. There is a product available that is for this purpose (called Goo-Gone). Its' use makes the task much easier.
Answer 3GooGone product is the best on anything sticky...plastic, glass, even on cardboard! Just spray, let it penetrate the sticker, wait a few and it peels right off! If you just have the sticky mess, spray it and rub it off.
Answer 4i cover the residue with a thick layer of dishwashing soap and let it sit. after a few hours i scrub what comes off and repeat the process. it works it's cheap.
Answer 5"Citrisolve" is the best product that I have found to remove adhesives,oil,gum. I buy several bottles at a time from the health food store to clean house ,work area and cement orange oil fragrance is wonderful. Nice that you drink a lot of water!

Answer 7Easiest, quickest solution = Eucalyptus oil. You can purchase this from the supermarket - just put some on the end of a cotton ball and then lightly rub the onto the sticky, gluey mess until it all disappears!!!
Answer 8Leave the bottle to soak in soapy water overnight, this should remove most of the glue, then use eucalyptus oil to remove the residue. I usually soak for a few days before I use the eucalyptus oil, sometimes it may take a few washes to get the oil smell off the bottle. Good luck
