Other Society Culture : What Is The Cheapest Way To Start A Small Sustainable Community That Is As Self Sufficient As Possible
I am in the process of designing a commune with a small group of dedicated individuals. Obviously there is a limitless amount of things to consider, but I would like to have any views or opinions on how to go about doing this. We would like to start with land, and build everything from there, whilst remaining as self sufficient and environmentally friendly as possible. Any ideas on income, economy, government, sanitation, agriculture, engineering, architecture, sewage, etc are welcome! ~~~ Wilford Brimley ~~~

My advice would be to put yourself in research mode and locate one or more typical communities who are already doing this successfully. Visit them and get all the advice you can, they will be able to help you avoid mistakes they made and save you a lot of trouble.
