who do i talk to, generally? I understand, of course, that some people do not believe in the paranormal and some have ideas as to where/why a haunt would occur. I would like to research a specific cemetery and have the first hand experience of doing a thorough investigation of the reports that have been published. ~~~ Hauntednjshore.com ~~~

Answer 1

Go to their office and ask? Unless it is one of those older cemeteries that have no one on hand, then you may have to track down an owner of sorts.

Answer 2

yes. you get permission to investigate any private property, some public places are ok. You should go in and get permission in person at the office or from whom ever is in charge. Never place a phone call, thats disrespectful and your probably not gonna get permission.

Answer 3

Talk to the head of the cemetery. Phone book it.

Answer 4

go and ask the company. If that don't work get ghost busters to ask for you! :)

Answer 5

Talk to frankenstein. His phone number is 911-You-Wish

Answer 6

This is a bit more difficult than you may think especially if the cemetery is not known for hauntings and doesn't want any publicity. However, the managers or owners usually have a place on site that you can inquire with about doing investigations. If the cemetery is county or city owned you will need the permission of the city or county. Get this permission in writing and notify the local police in advance that you will be present. I once rented a city park (with a reported ghost) to conduct an investigation but cemeteries (respect for people's deceased relatives) are a bit more tricky.

Answer 7

Just about all cemeteries are privately owned, so check with the management company that operates it. I love old cemeteries, so I'm always creeping around them. I just act like I'm looking for an ancestor or something and no one has ever bothered me.

Answer 8

why would a person who spent next to no time at that cemetery haunt it just because their body was there? You would be better off getting permission to research a haunted house.

Answer 9

make sure you contact your local city commerce or check the listings of time at where you want to 'm documenting our local cemeteries and have had know this is a place of respect, and that is for the living and I go to take pictures, which by the way are amazing what shows up;I ask those who would like to be seen please share your also thank them and pray for there safe journey go always tell someone where you'll provoke or be cruel to anyone in the cemetery....you could get someone upset or the wrong entity to follow you leave without making sure you luck and blessed be. would like to hear more on your adventures.....bellasheart111@
