I've had frozen shoulder for 2 years now. I've been to 2 doctors. I finally cured myself although its not perfect. I exercise my arm and shoulder every night before going to sleep in bed. I went on the Internet and looked up frozen shoulder and there are exercises you can do by yourself. Whatever you do, don't baby it. The more it hurts, the faster it will heal. The 2 doctors had me baby it and I wasn't getting better so I started getting mad and exercising it myself. Its now about 95% healed after 2 years of listening to doctors.

Answer 2Although you have not mentioned about the cause of pain in your shoulder, yet I guess that you have got spondolytis of the neck or spine. For that, you need to consult a physiotherapist. Otherwise the pain may gradually go on increasing day by day and you will not be able to even sleep properly. Further you may also not be able to get work from your hand due to acute pain. You can however, start exercise of the related arm and the neck. The pain may of course will discourage you from making any such exercise, but your regular exercise would achieve you success in losing pain within only a very few days. Yoga however, will be best suited in such types of ailments.
