Pregnancy : How Do I Lessen My Chances Of Miscarriage
I'm going through a bit of a paranoia stage in my pregnancy. I am 7 weeks and am feeling a lot of worry related to miscarriage, stillbirth, etc. I'm trying to relax because I know stress isn't good during pregnancy. Any other tips on ensuring or trying to ensure that the pregnancy goes smoothly? Are these worries normal? ~~~ Voodoo Lady ~~~

Those worries are completely normal. I used to search for my chances of miscarriage every week and count the days till my second trimester. Just try and calm down and in a few weeks you won't be as worried anymore.

Answer 2If your going to miscarry then it is going to happen and there is nothing you can do to help ensure that it doesn't, it is most commonly the result of fetal abnormality, something you have no control worries are normal, just relax and enjoy the pregnancy, chances are, your baby will be just fine.
Answer 3oh yes the worry is normal. and it won't get better even after the baby is born. don't smoke don't drink. drink water instead of soda drink milk and jucie if you want. take your prenatal vitamin. don't lift over 30 lbs try not to fall. eat every meal and walk a little for your health. be sure to go to all your appts. and listen to what your doctors say. good luck. and congrats.
Answer 4While it is more prevalent in women who have had, or been around others who have had miscarriages, I think it is quite normal for us all to be scarred of tragedy. I think that fear of losing the little one is part of the maternal process, you are beginning to truly love this little baby and feeling its bond grow inside you. The fear of something happening to your child does not go away even if they are grown and on their own. I just focus on each day. I had losses of my own and then a difficult pregnancy so I made up my mind to savor every move the baby made and every ultrasound picture I got. My son is almost two and healthy and I still soak up his every move like a sponge. I think if we looked at like in general this way we would all be happier. I hold him to dear to my heart for as long as I am blessed with him. Relax, you are becoming a mother, sweetheart! ENJOY IT!
Answer 5I wish someone could tell me! I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks on 30 Jan this year! If you just follow recommendations for pregnant women . healthy diet, no smoking, no alcohol etc, then you are doing your best and doing all that you can. Most miscarriages have absolutely nothing to do with what you do or do not do. Its just due to an abnormality when the egg is fertilized, like a 'missing piece of information' which means the baby cannot grow properly. These worries are perfectly normal, I know i'm going to be wrrying like mad when I get pregnant again! Good luck!
Answer 6I have had 3 miscarriages and I am pregnant now! My advice to you is to get plenty of rest and try not to stress. A lot of doctors say that stress doens't bring on a miscarriages but I personallly think that it does a little. WIth this pregnancy I am thinking happy thoughts and getting tons of rest and keeping a watchful eye one my physical well being. I know its not easy to stress about it but I think the best thing you can do is keep up your daily routine within reason and take time out for yourself and relax. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!
Answer 7i think its normal because you're having some changes in your body since you're having a baby.. well the thing is that you should just relax and just rest.. dont do things that will stress you out and make some complications with your physical health... to be very sure with your worries, try having a checkup with a doctor..
Answer 8The worries are perfectly normal...you just need to realx, eat right, and take care of yourself. Other than that there is nothing you can do...a miscarriage is natures way of telling you that there was something wrong with the fetus.
