I'm planning to give my bank information to PayPal so that i can use their service (im an international user). What is the worst that can happen if someone were to hack into my paypal account and steal the bank information that Paypal has? I'm thinking not much but is this true? ~~~ burnt1ce85 ~~~

The worst could have happen to your bank info are actually going to use your information and that's hard for you to trace it because it's on the internet and you cannot do anything about it anymore than cancel your bank information, whatever card you did put in. But if you're planning to give your info tru PayPal then there's nothing to worry about becuse they're site are free hackers and they're secure website. My husband uses PayPal all the time and some of the buyers in Ebay uses PayPal. But if you really unsure to leave your bank info to any other site, check their website first if their site have security from all those hassles or hackers, because some sites aren't secure from those bad things.

I've been hacked on Paypal once. Had $8000 used from my account and spent on email mailing lists through another website. Paypal returned the money 4 days later, after I filed a dispute.

They can make purchases through paypal that will charge your bank accounts/credit cards, but paypal and/or your bank will probably refund the money.

Some people had problems with paypal. I would recommend getting a separate checking account from a different bank. Just use it for paypal transactions. The paypals***s is a goodsite to read about paypal problems.
