I usually break the ice with a method I've myself invented (or so I think). I approach a girl and note something about her, but I use odd words. For example, if she is wearing a peculiar shirt I would tell her that she is wearing an "attractive shirt" or a "delicious ; That usually gets them laughing. please tell me you never called a girls shirt "delicious" that comes off creepy. but you have the right idea... EVERYONE complements their eyes or smile etc... so notice something like her shirt or ear rings and compliment that. they LOVE it

It depends on what your goal is, if you're just trying to get in her pants, the line is less important than if she is feeling horny and is interested in you.
