I enjoy traditional pool, 8-ball, 9-ball, chicago, straight pool (aka continuous). I also enjoy doing Carom Billiards, it's great practice for banks and rolls. And I enjoy Snooker, although trying to find a snooker table in NJ can be a bit challenging. Each game brings it's own set of challenges, which is why I enjoy them all pretty much equally. Even with in "pool" games, each one plays differently with different strengths and weaknesses and strategies.

pool as I don't have the brain for snooker? if thats what you mean.. billards is like them things with the mushrooms on the table? snooker you have to think a load of shots ahead.. and have plenty of time to play it. me I have the attention span of a gnat.

I started with Carom Billiards and have become a great position player. Both games are great It is just easier to find Pocket Billiards tables then Carom tables. If you are interested in developing your position play Straight Rail Billiards should be your game.
