Best Answer To South Africa Question
The most well-known characteristic that seperates the genus Acinonyx (cheetahs) from the other two cat genuses, Panthera and Felis, is that they cannot retract their claws. Cheetahs are also day-hunters while the hunting habits of other cats are mostly (but not exclusively) crepuscular and nocturnal.
