Answer 3Quote"In order to obtain an SIA licence you will need to show that you are trained to the right level. This applies to front-line staff ; from the sia website. I couldn't find any info about how to become a teacher, have a quick look yourself.
Answer 4You need to be a qualified level 2 door supervisor with a level 3 teaching qualification. Ask the Skills for Security for an approved trainer application form. Complete the form send it back to them, they will process your application, if successful you will have to pay a small fee for your trainer certificate, you will then have your trainer number and then be able to teach through a approved training provider. If you want teach by yourself, you will then have to apply to be an approved centre (cost approx £400).
