Symptoms of a yeast infection are: You will feel an intense itching, burning sensation....this itching is not always present, but can get really bad. A yeast infection looks like clumpy nasty white stuff. most medical descriptions compare the discharge to ricotta cheese, but it can range from thick and not clumpy to faintly yellow to thin and clear. And It smells like bread or beer. And if you have never had a yeast infection before you should got to you doctor to get it diagnosed the first time. And don't try to treat it yourself unless you know for sure it is a yeast infection. Otherwise your body could become immune to the medicines and when your really do have a yeast infection you wont be able to treat it as easily. Hope that helps!

Answer 1Your discharge would be white and kind of chunky if it is a yeast infection. If it is any other color then white see a Dr as you might have a infection, OR worse an STD. If you do have a yeast infection by a 7 day cream. It won't hurt you if you use it and you dont have one
Answer 2My doc gave me medication without doing tests. I told him my vagina is itchy and he said it is probably a yeast infection. His medication didn't work well but I bought a 3 day course of Canesten tablets that you insert into your vagina and it worked well. Symptoms are: Itchy Burning while you urinate Curd-like discharge. Foul smell. I didn't have any discharge though.
